Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Canvasdate (the “Service”). Canvasdate provides web-based tools that allow users to convert, compress, merge, and otherwise process documents and/or images using online software.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and the operator of Canvasdate (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Use of Our Service
1.1 General
You agree to:
- Read and understand these Terms.
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not violate third-party rights.
- Not use the Service to engage in unlawful activity, generate spam, or distribute instructions for illegal activities.
- Not collect, handle, or store personal data of other users or third parties unless you comply with applicable data protection laws.
- Follow any additional rules or policies referenced by these Terms.
If these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy, these Terms will prevail to the extent of the conflict.
Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination under Section 10.
1.2 Reasonable Use / Prohibited Use
To keep the Service fair and secure, you may not:
- Use automated scraping tools (bots, scrapers, spiders) to access the Service or content.
- Use the Service at a rate that exceeds what a human could reasonably do using a normal device and manual interaction.
- Share your account credentials or use another person’s credentials.
- Abuse the Service, attempt to bypass limits, or interfere with its normal operation.
- Attempt to hack, exploit vulnerabilities, reverse engineer, or disrupt servers, APIs, or infrastructure.
We may investigate suspicious usage and may temporarily or permanently limit, suspend, or terminate access.
1.3 Cookies
Canvasdate uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service and improve functionality. Some cookies are essential. Additional cookies may require your consent. You can manage your preferences through cookie settings (if provided) and your browser.
2. Accounts
2.1 General
Canvasdate may offer different account types, for example:
- Guest / Not registered
- Registered
- Paid (Coin-based access to paid features)
You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service. Where legally required, we may provide notice to affected users.
3. User Content (Uploaded Files)
3.1 Processing and Storage
Canvasdate processes files you upload solely to provide the tool output you request. We do not need to “read” your file content to provide conversions, but automated systems may process the file to generate output.
File deletion: Processed files and download links are deleted automatically after a limited period (the “Retention Window”). The exact retention time may vary by tool and may be shown in the relevant tool UI or Help/FAQ. After deletion, files cannot be recovered.
Users are solely responsible for the content of files they upload and for maintaining their own backups.
3.2 Content Manipulation
We provide tool instructions and expected formats. You are responsible for using the tools correctly and contacting support if you experience technical issues.
3.3 Responsibility for File Content
Canvasdate is not responsible for misuse of the tools, copyright infringement, or unlawful content in user files. You agree to indemnify and hold Canvasdate harmless from claims, penalties, fines, or damages resulting from your file content or your misuse of the Service, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Signature (If Applicable)
If Canvasdate offers electronic signature features, additional terms may apply, including identity verification, audit trails, retention requirements, and legal limitations depending on jurisdiction. Canvasdate does not guarantee that an electronic signature will meet your specific legal needs in your country. You are responsible for confirming suitability and compliance.
(If you do not offer signatures, remove Section 4 entirely.)
5. Paid Services (Canvasdate Coin)
5.1 Coin-Based Billing
Paid features are accessed using Canvasdate Coin (“Coins”). Coins may be obtained by purchasing coin packages or other methods explicitly offered in the Service.
When you purchase Coins, you authorize us to charge your payment method the price shown at checkout. Coin packages, pricing, and included benefits may change over time.
Some paid actions deduct Coins at the time you initiate the action (e.g., a conversion). If a paid action fails due to a technical error on our side, we may restore Coins at our discretion or as required by law.
5.2 Refunds
All Coin purchases and Coin deductions are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Coins have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash unless explicitly stated otherwise.
We may issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis. If we provide a refund or credit once, we are not obligated to do so in the future.
5.3 Payment Information, Taxes, Fees
You must provide accurate, complete, and current payment information. You are responsible for applicable taxes related to your purchases.
If third-party payment providers apply processing fees, exchange fees, or other charges, you are responsible for those fees.
5.4 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a payment is reversed, disputed, or charged back, we may suspend or terminate your account and/or revoke access to Coins or paid features, to the extent permitted by law.
6. No Warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.
You use the Service at your own risk. You are responsible for safeguarding your own data and devices.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Canvasdate and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
We are not liable for damages resulting from hacking, tampering, unauthorized access, or your failure to secure your account.
8. License of Limited Use
Canvasdate and its software, design, text, and underlying technology are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including trademarks, logos, UI, code, and content (excluding your uploaded files), belong to Canvasdate or its licensors. You may not use our branding in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation without written permission.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:
- you violate these Terms,
- you infringe third-party rights,
- you engage in fraud or abuse,
- we are required to do so by law, or
- we discontinue the Service (in whole or in part).
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have an account, you may request deletion according to the Privacy Policy. Termination does not entitle you to refunds except as required by law.
11. Claims / Support
For questions, complaints, or requests related to the Service, contact: contact@canvasdate.com
12. Miscellaneous
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any posted policies, are the entire agreement between you and Canvasdate regarding the Service.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where permitted by law, disputes will be subject to the competent courts in Turkey.
